The Senior Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for accurately measuring and calculating quantities for construction projects, ensuring compliance with Indian and International standards. The role requires proficiency in preparing detailed project documents using software tools and effective communication to support project progress and documentation.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct precise measurement and quantification of materials and resources required for construction projects, ensuring adherence to both Indian and International standards.
Prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and cost estimates to support budgeting and project planning.
Utilise AutoCAD, Cost X, and MS Excel to create, review, and manage project drawings, schedules, and documentation efficiently.
Assist in the preparation and review of tender documents, contracts, and variation orders.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure accurate cost control and timely project delivery.
Support the use of advanced construction software such as Cost X, Revit, and Navisworks to enhance quantity surveying processes.
Maintain clear and professional communication through technical reports and documentation to facilitate project tracking and compliance.
Qualifications
Diploma or B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or related discipline
Internship experience in a related field is preferred
Proficiency in MS Excel and AutoCAD is a plus point
Nice to Have
Experience with construction cost management software such as Cost X, Revit, or Navisworks
Strong technical writing and communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary project team
Familiarity with tendering processes and contract documentation
