The Senior Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring consistent product quality of couplings by implementing robust quality systems, monitoring manufacturing processes, and driving continuous improvement in line with Utkarsh Manufacturing Industry's standards and customer requirements.
Roles & Responsibilities
Ensure implementation and maintenance of
Quality Management System (ISO 9001 / IATF if applicable)
Monitor
incoming, in-process, and final quality inspections
Analyze quality issues and lead
root cause analysis & CAPA
Handle
customer complaints, audits, and compliance requirements
Prepare and maintain
quality documentation and records
Support
new product development and process validation
Guide and mentor quality team members
Drive continuous improvement to reduce rejection and rework
Qualification & Experience
Education:
BE / BTech / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
Experience:
5-10 years in manufacturing quality
Industry Preference:
Couplings, machining, mechanical components
Key Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of machining processes & drawings
Expertise in quality tools (7 QC tools, FMEA, 5 Why)
Experience with measuring instruments & calibration systems
Good communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
