Job Description

A Senior QC Manager with an export/import background in a ladies garment manufacturing unit is responsible for overseeing all quality control processes, ensuring product quality meets international standards. He will lead a team, develop and implement quality control procedures, and collaborate with other departments to improve efficiency and quality. Key Responsibilities:

Quality Control Management:

Develop and implement quality control procedures, processes, and standards for the entire garment manufacturing process, from raw materials to finished goods, ensuring compliance with international standards and buyer requirements.

Collaboration and Communication:

Work closely with other departments like production, purchasing, and shipping to ensure quality standards are maintained throughout the manufacturing process and to address any quality issues.

Quality Audits and Reporting:

Conduct quality audits, analyze data, and prepare reports to track quality performance, identify trends, and implement corrective actions.
Specific Skills and Knowledge:

Garment Manufacturing Knowledge:

Strong understanding of garment manufacturing processes, including cutting, stitching, finishing, and packing.

Quality Control Techniques:

Expertise in quality control techniques, including inspection, testing, and defect analysis.

International Standards:

Familiarity with international quality standards and regulations, such as ISO 9001.

Process Improvement:

Continuously evaluate and improve quality control procedures, identify areas for optimization, and implement new technologies and techniques to enhance efficiency and quality.

Knowledge of International Standards:

Possess in-depth knowledge of industry standards, quality control methodologies, and relevant regulations.

Problem Solving and Root Cause Analysis:

Identify quality issues, analyze root causes, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
