To lead and oversee quality control processes across electrical panel board manufacturing and related operations, ensuring compliance with IEC/IS standards, customer specifications, and international best practices. The Senior Quality Control Engineer will drive continuous improvement, risk mitigation, and operational excellence to support SRG's growth and global competitiveness.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Assurance & Compliance
Develop, implement, and monitor quality control procedures for electrical panel boards and motor systems.
Ensure strict adherence to IEC, IS, and other relevant international standards.
Conduct inspections, audits, and testing of raw materials, components, and finished products
Establish and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for quality checks.
Identify process gaps and recommend corrective/preventive actions.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or equivalent methodologies.
Supervise routine and advanced testing of electrical panels, wiring, and assemblies.
Validate performance, safety, and reliability of products before dispatch.
Maintain calibration and accuracy of testing equipment.
Prepare detailed quality reports, compliance certificates, and audit documentation.
Maintain records of inspections, deviations, and corrective actions.
Support ISO certification and customer audits with structured documentation.
Mentor and train junior quality engineers and technicians.
Build a culture of quality awareness across production teams.
Coordinate with design, production, and service departments to resolve quality issues.
Collaborate with clients and OEM partners to address quality concerns.
Provide technical support during pre-dispatch inspections and client audits.
Ensure customer satisfaction through proactive quality assurance.
Required Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of
electrical panel board design, wiring, and testing
.
Expertise in
IEC/IS standards, ISO systems, and compliance frameworks
.
Proficiency in
quality tools
: Root Cause Analysis, FMEA, SPC, CAPA.
Hands-on experience with
testing instruments
(megger, HV tester, relay test kits, etc.).
Excellent analytical, documentation, and reporting skills.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
Qualifications
Bachelor's/Master's degree in
Electrical Engineering / Power Electronics / Industrial Automation
.
Minimum
3-5 years of experience
in quality control within electrical manufacturing.
Certifications in
ISO, Six Sigma, or Quality Management Systems
preferred.
