Key ResponsibilitiesQuality Inspection & Control
Perform
quality inspection of raw materials, in-process production, and finished goods
Conduct
final inspection before dispatch
and prepare
Final Inspection Reports
Ensure products meet
drawing specifications, customer requirements, and quality standards
Process & Product Quality
Validate and monitor
ongoing manufacturing processes
Participate in
process audits and product audits
Support
root cause analysis
and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) for quality issues
Reduce
rework and rejection
through effective process control and operator guidance
Documentation & Systems
Maintain and update
quality-related documents, inspection records, and reports
Ensure compliance with
ISO/TS 16949 Quality Management System
Assist in
internal and external audits
Calibration & Equipment
Maintain
calibration records
of attribute and measuring instruments
Ensure timely calibration and proper usage of inspection tools
Coordination & Improvement
Coordinate with
production, engineering, and planning teams
for quality improvements
Support continuous improvement initiatives related to quality and processes
Perform other
quality and system-related activities
as required
Safety & Compliance
Ensure adherence to
EHS requirements
on the shop floor
Support compliance with
ISO 14001 / OHSAS 18001
standards
Qualifications & Skills
Diploma / BE / B.Tech in
Mechanical Engineering
or related field
1-5 years of experience in
manufacturing quality control
(bearing/roller industry preferred)
Knowledge of
inspection techniques, gauges, and measuring instruments
Understanding of
ISO/TS 16949, process control, and quality documentation
Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work closely with shop-floor teams
Preferred Experience
Experience in
precision roller or bearing manufacturing
Familiarity with
process audits, product audits, and continuous improvement tools
