Experience

- Min. 5+ yrs . in Electrical Industry (e.g., Switchgear,LT Panels, Control Panels, Transformers, Wiring Accessories, Cables, etc.)

Location

- Jaipur

The Senior Quality Control Engineer is responsible for overseeing the

inspection, testing, and quality assurance of electrical products and systems

throughout the manufacturing process. The role ensures that all products meet

internal standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements

before dispatch.

Supervise and perform

incoming, in-process, and final inspection

of electrical components, assemblies, and finished products. Review and verify

electrical parameters

, insulation resistance, continuity, high-voltage withstand tests (Hi-pot), and functional tests. Ensure proper calibration of testing instruments and equipment used in QC processes Ensure that all products comply with

IEC, IS, UL, and other relevant standards

. Monitor quality procedures and practices to ensure

compliance with ISO 9001

or other applicable QMS standards. Prepare and update

Quality Control Plans (QCPs)

and Inspection Test Plans (ITPs). Maintain detailed

inspection records

, test reports, and non-conformance reports (NCRs). Prepare

root cause analysis (RCA)

and

Corrective & Preventive Actions (CAPA)

for recurring quality issues. Maintain and submit

quality metrics, audit reports, and final quality dossiers

for client approval. Lead a team of QC inspectors and

train them on inspection standards, product specifications, and quality tools

. Mentor junior QC engineers and provide guidance on problem-solving and quality improvement techniques. Implement

Kaizen, 5S, and Lean Quality tools

to drive quality improvements on the shop floor. Conduct

Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA)

for product and process improvement. Collaborate with design and production teams to resolve design-quality-related issues and improve overall product reliability.
