Job Description

1. Enable product development and do-ability - Risk and do-ability analysis (PER)
This includes input for placement by mapping product to Vendor capability and capacity.
2. Pre-production and failure proofing - Engagement with vendor / factory before production, to download expectations and set up processes and product requirements to deliver On time and On Quality
Ensure pre-production closures before bulk is initiated and set up checks and balances to address Critical to Quality aspects.
Work with vendor to upgrade or adjust processes, as required.
3. Problem Solving -work with internal stakeholders to pre-empt challenges - work with PD & S & RM to solve / mitigate them.
4. Vendor Intervention -

• Calibrate & train (educate) Vendor Quality teams to LS&Co. requirements and expectations
• Process Audits - Raw material supply, manufacturing processes, Packing, Warehouse, Delivery
• Ensure the closure of all consumer issues related action and Process audit findings.
• Deliver Defect Reduction as mandated by LS&Co.
• Implement and drive Quality Management Process (QMP) to drive vendor independence / reduced LS&Co. engagement
• Ensure Factory / New Product Start Up - Product capability and process gearing
• Scan and implement Industry leading practices

5. KPIs / Key Deliverables: -

• NQA / Certified QA / QMP certification
• Factory / Field DUH and Pass rate
• CSC DUH and Pass rate
• HOD (Co-Own with SSM)
• Bulk Execution Fallouts / In Season Cancellations
• Reduction in Concessions and Waivers, attributed to process violations.
