As a QA Engineer at TexAu, you will be instrumental in safeguarding the integrity of our core pillars: APIs, Payments, Marketing, and Analytics. You'll be working closely with our engineering and product teams to ensure that our platform not only meets but exceeds the expectations of our demanding user base. Key Responsibilities:

Design and execute test plans for core features across APIs, Payments, Marketing, and Analytics. Validate integrations and real-time data pipelines for accuracy, performance, and fault tolerance. Test third-party services (e.g., Stripe) and ensure seamless platform interoperability. Identify, document, and track bugs in Linear with clear reproduction steps. Collaborate with engineering and product teams to refine requirements and ensure test coverage. Contribute to QA automation using tools like Cypress or Playwright. Participate in agile ceremonies and advocate for quality gates and release hygiene. Ensure reliability of publisher-facing tools and end-user API workflows.

Who You Are:

You possess a strong passion for quality and a meticulous eye for detail. You have a solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and the software development lifecycle. You thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and are comfortable working on complex, distributed systems. You are an excellent communicator, able to articulate technical issues clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences. You are a proactive problem-solver with a strong analytical mindset. You are a team player who enjoys collaborating with engineers and product managers to deliver high-quality products.

Requirements:

2-4 years of QA experience, ideally in fast-paced SaaS or API-first environments. Strong hands-on experience testing RESTful APIs and distributed systems. Proficient with API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured, or similar) and scripting for automation. Experience with performance/load testing tools (e.g., k6, JMeter) and interpreting results to guide optimization. Familiarity with cloud-native stacks (AWS preferred), CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code workflows. Comfortable with issue tracking and test management tools (Linear, TestRail, or equivalents). Solid grasp of testing strategies: regression, smoke, integration, end-to-end, and exploratory testing. Experience with modern test automation frameworks (Cypress, Playwright, Selenium) and scripting in JavaScript or Python. Exposure to observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus, or similar) to correlate test outcomes with system metrics. Agile mindset with experience in iterative development cycles and continuous delivery.

Bonus Points:

Experience testing payment processing systems (e.g., Stripe). Exposure to event-driven architectures (e.g., Kafka, SQS). Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). Familiarity with API marketplace concepts or developer platforms. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
