3Pillar Global is searching for a Senior Quality Engineer with 3+ years of experience with Database & API Automation. The applicant will add skills and years of experience to an already established team of talented consultants that all work towards the same goal of meeting our client’s needs. This individual should maintain a high awareness of industry issues and trends, particularly regarding accessibility, usability and emerging technologies and keep team members informed as appropriate with a view to incorporating these in future projects and staying ahead of the market.

Responsibilities

• Work on Data Engineering project
• Testing of Data Pipelines, ETL jobs, Reporting
• Test Case writing
• Test execution
• Understanding the requirement and business outcomes
• Would have to apply knowledge & experience in delivering following tasks:
• Agile testing, All types of testing from agile testing quadrants, Testing strategy, Test plan, Automation, Continuous integration, Code review, Deployment, Monitoring
• Articulates issues and ideas and suggests improved ways to accomplish objectives: Seeks to understand vision to develop execution steps of a plan, Provides technical advice to less senior members and has gained trust through quality work, and Demonstrates ability to defend position or case in a calm and professional manner, Makes wise decisions, based on information, root cause analysis, and strategic thinking

Requirements

• Must have:
• Database testing
• ETL testing
• Hands-on on database complex queries
• API automation
• Experience working on AWS or any other cloud platform
• Excellent communication skills

Nice to have: Knowledge of Databricks and ScalaAutomation – Selenium/JavaWorking experience on Linux OSKnowledge of any BI tool like Sisense/Pentaho/Tableau
