3Pillar Global is searching for a Senior Quality Engineer with 5+ years of experience with Python Automation. The applicant will add skills and years of experience to an already established team of talented consultants that all work towards the same goal of meeting our client’s needs. This individual should maintain a high awareness of industry issues and trends, particularly regarding accessibility, usability and emerging technologies and keep team members informed as appropriate with a view to incorporating these in future projects and staying ahead of the market.

Responsibilities

• Would have to apply knowledge & experience in delivering following tasks:
• Agile testing, All types of testing from agile testing quadrants, Testing strategy, Test plan, Automation, Continuous integration, Code review, Deployment, Monitoring
• Articulates issues and ideas and suggests improved ways to accomplish objectives: Seeks to understand vision to develop execution steps of a plan, Provides technical advice to less senior members and has gained trust through quality work, and Demonstrates ability to defend position or case in a calm and professional manner, Makes wise decisions, based on information, root cause analysis, and strategic thinking
• Creates automation test scripts. Writes and executes database queries. Compares and suggests, the best possible automation tools to clients
• Keeps updated on the latest technology in automation.
• Automation of test scenarios using Python framework
• Implementation of new features support in the Python framework
• Development of CI/CD pipelines
• Triaging and failure debugging of regression suites
• Basic handling on VMs using VmWare or other.
• Will be responsible to participate in code reviews from the standpoint of QA.
• Manages project tasks and keeps manager informed of any issues with their work
• Follows adaptive PLM guidelines.

Technical Competencies

• Technologies used: Python, Linux, Jenkins, VmWare, Bash scripting, REST API
• Must have: Coding skills in Python, OOP, REST API, Linux OS knowledge, Previous debugging experience
• Nice to have: Networking knowledge, Groovy, Bash scripting
