We pride ourselves on delivering state-of-the-art advertising solutions that integrate seamlessly with today's ever-evolving digital media landscape.The OpportunityAs a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer I at LG Ad Solutions, you will be a technical leader within your team, focusing on ambiguous quality problem areas and complex test scenarios. You will design and implement exemplary test solutions that are maintainable, scalable, and extensible. This role requires strategic thinking, strong technical expertise, and the ability to influence quality practices across multiple teams. You will drive quality methods into all stages of product development while mentoring others to improve overall engineering efficiency.This position is on-site/in office, 5 days a week in the Bangalore office.ResponsibilitiesLead the design, implementation, and delivery of test plans in ambiguous and complex product scenariosDesign test plans that split testing work into parallel tasks to be performed independentlyCreate inventive test solutions that are easily maintainable, scalable, and extensibleAnticipate and prevent future defects from occurring through strategic test planningRefactor test solutions to be more efficient and identify deficiencies in test frameworks and toolsPartner with development teams to establish the quality bar for productsCreate appropriate instrumentation to measure quality (pre-release and in production)Improve engineer efficiency and work across team boundaries to share best practicesInfluence decisions made by other teams to improve product qualityActively mentor and develop others, improving their test knowledge and engineering practicesMake appropriate trade-offs between short-term and long-term quality needsRequirements7+ years QA experienceAbility to design and execute test plans for ambiguous quality problem areas and complex test scenariosProven experience designing extensible test automation, scripts, and test casesDemonstrated ability to lead initiatives addressing architecture deficiencies affecting qualityExperience delivering scalable testing solutions with limited guidanceAbility to simplify processes, remove bottlenecks, and define new quality metricsStrong judgment on technical trade-offs between short-term team needs vs. long-term business needsProven ability to influence engineering team owners and QA peers regarding appropriate test strategiesExperience actively mentoring team members and improving overall team capabilitiesStrong problem-solving and communication skillsPreferredBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fieldExperience implementing quality frameworks across multiple teams or productsExpertise in advanced test automation architecture and frameworksExperience with DevOps practices and tools for continuous testingKnowledge of machine learning testing approachesExperience with service virtualization and mock servicesDemonstrated ability to establish quality gates and metrics in CI/CD pipelinesExperience with chaos engineering and resilience testingProficiency in multiple programming languagesExperience developing custom testing tools or frameworksLG Ad Solutions provides equal work opportunities to all team members and applicants, and it prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type on the basis of race, color, ethnicity, caste, religion, age, sex (including pregnancy), national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by our policies or federal, state, or local laws.We want to ensure that our hiring process is accessible.
