Job Purpose:

To be ultimately responsible for all Quality Assurance and Certification related activities at KVPL.

To lead the Quality Control team, ensuring effective coordination with R&D and timely resolution of customer complaints. Responsible for monitoring adherence to SOPs, conducting internal audits and compliance checks, and organizing training and R&R activities for the team.

Job Responsibilities:

To be ultimately responsible for all Quality Assurance and Certification related activities at KVPL. Lead and manage the Quality Control team, assigning responsibilities, monitoring performance and ensuring alignment with quality goals. Coordinate with the R&D team for supporting new product developments and driving process improvements across production stages. Define and implement quality strategy aligned with KVPL's vision, mission & goals. Oversees all quality-related functions/SOPs and collaborates with the QA team, QC personnel, vendors, customers, and production staff to ensure quality at all stages & effective resolution of issues. Supervises all internal and external audits, including ISO 9001:2015, BIS certifications, in-plant assessments for project approvals, and third-party inspections. Conduct internal quality audits, enforce compliance with ISO and regulatory standards and take follow-up actions on audit findings. Responsible for the Third-Party Inspections, Inspection of Certification bodies like BIS & others, along with liaising and collaboration with consultants/advisors. To assist in selecting, hiring, and training QC team members. Any other task given by your Reporting Supervisor / KVPL Management.
Qualification: Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field

Experience: 12-15 years
