Job Description

Qualification: BE graduate or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Knowledge in material classification ASTM & EN - ferretic, Austenitic stainless steel, Hastelloy, duplex etc.

Should have 6+ years of experience in relevant field.

Knowledge in WPS, WPQT& PQR Fabrication of carbon steel and Stainless Steel etc. Familiarity with various welding techniques and processes (GTAW, SMAW etc.). Experience in reviewing or preparing WPS, PQR, and WPQ in accordance with applicable codes and project requirements. Knowledge & experience in manufacturing and fabrication of Pressure Vessels, Heat Exchangers, Process Equipment, Storage Tanks, and Piping systems. Sound knowledge of ASME (Sec VIII, V, IX, II) and EN ISO codes and standards applicable to pressure equipment and welding. Knowledge in inspection of sampling plan IS 2500 /ISO 2859 Product knowledge specification and standards requirements and coordinate with TPI inspection Inspection to be caried out at vendor site Software Microsoft Office (word, Excel PPT etc.) Knowledge in (Micro Soft dynamic NAV.) ERP/SAP system Ability to prepare and review ITPs, procedures, and welding documentation. Understanding of project specifications and client requirements in fabrication projects. Additional Qualification: a. ASNT Level II - PT, RT, UT & MPT - Mandatory b. CSWIP 3.1-Optional

Preferred candidates from Heavy fabrication/Pressure vessel/Equipment Manufacturing or assembly industries.
