Role Summary

The QC Engineer will be responsible for conducting daily quality inspections for residential construction projects, focusing on Mivan shuttering and conventional civil works. This role is pivotal in ensuring that construction activities conform to project drawings, specifications, applicable IS codes, and quality standards, while preparing detailed inspection reports for client submissions.

Key Responsibilities

Perform daily inspections of civil works including shuttering, reinforcement, concreting, blockwork, plastering, and finishing activities. Verify execution of works against approved drawings, specifications, and relevant IS standards. Prepare and maintain thorough checklists, inspection reports, and Non-Conformance Report (NCR) documentation. Identify quality deviations and coordinate with site engineers and contractors to initiate timely corrective actions. Support the Lead QC by assisting in the preparation of consolidated inspection and quality reports. Facilitate internal and external quality audits, ensuring strict adherence to Inspection Test Plans (ITP) and Material Test Plans (MTP). Maintain and manage quality documentation to uphold regulatory compliance and project quality objectives.
Skills & Competencies

Sound knowledge of Mivan shuttering and conventional construction practices. Strong understanding of QA/QC methodologies, IS codes, and construction quality standards. Excellent observational skills and ability to identify and resolve quality-related issues promptly. Strong reporting and documentation capabilities with attention to detail. Ability to work collaboratively under supervision and handle client interactions professionally.
Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering. 8 to 10 years of hands-on QA/QC experience in residential or commercial construction projects. Experience with third-party quality inspections is highly desirable. Familiarity with ISO and Quality Management System (QMS) standards will be an advantage.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
