Position Description:
PTC Gurgaon is looking for QA with a passion for UI testing and enthusiasm to work on different technologies. In this individual contributor position, the candidate will be responsible for designing, developing & executing test case documents. The candidate should enjoy analyzing and debugging complex systems and have a strong skill set of QA process and techniques, embrace agile and innovation. Responsibilities:
xc2xb7 Builds on a working knowledge of QA test plan and test case writing using design notes and functional specifications
xc2xb7 Become proficient at test plan execution and result communication
xc2xb7 Achieve a working knowledge of applicable automated test writing, both API and GUI
xc2xb7 Be an active QA representative for product related Cross Functional Teams (CFT)
xc2xb7 Share technical information with the team and to a wider audience when appropriate
xc2xb7 Provide timely and complete information and documentation to product stakeholders
xc2xb7 Follow QA best practices and be the advocate for a structured and well-designed QA approach to test automation
xc2xb7 Responsible for unstructured and structured tasks. May require new perspectives and creative approaches to address less defined issues
xc2xb7 Manage multiple priorities and tasks in a dynamic work environment
Competencies:
xc2xb7 Passionate about software testing techniques and tools
xc2xb7 Strong grasp of GUI design and usability concepts
xc2xb7 Strong understanding of Agile methodology
xc2xb7 Excellent communication and documentation skills
xc2xb7 Excellent Software/system troubleshooting skills
xc2xb7 Knowledge and experience with Selenium, Web Driver, or similar tools
Requirements:
xc2xb7 2+ years of experience of testing complex enterprise applications
xc2xb7 Passionate about test and quality automation development for Java environments, web services, web-based applications, mobile
xc2xb7 Experience testing in enterprise-class environment is preferred
xc2xb7 Bachelors degree in Computer Science from a reputed university
