Our Team operates within the ZeroTrust Security Group, which develops and maintains cutting-edge security solutions for Akamai enterprise customers. In close collaboration with Development, Product, Support, and Sales Engineering teams, our primary mission is to enable the business to produce high-quality and secure products, enhance the security features of our products and ensure robust protection for our customers.

As a Q/A Engineer, you\'ll develop test suits and release procedures and practices for our mobile and desktop applications and cloud services. Focusing on the FedRAMP program and other similar standards. Working at the cutting-edge of network security with highly skilled colleagues, you\'ll enjoy challenges in an exciting, dynamic learning environment.

As a Q/A Engineer Senior II, you will be responsible for:

• Providing high-quality Test Strategy and Planning
• Designing, building, and implementing test automation
• Managing test execution, including application validation, monitoring, and priorities defects
• Planning and conducting performance and load testing analysis and optimization
• Collaborating with other software engineering teams to influence and shape the design process and product development
• Staying abreast of the latest trends and advancements in networking, security, and cloud technologies

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have 8+ years of experience in Python automation frameworks, Docker/Kubernetes/Git/Jenkins.
• Be abe to perform integrations/stress/load/regression and performance testing to validate high-quality production readiness.
• Have dedicated security testing to identify vulnerabilities and weaknesses in the software application.
• Be able to prepare test strategies and plans, and execute them. Understand object-oriented design and REST/SOAP APIs.
• Have knowledge of Virtualization and cloud concepts. Good debugging and troubleshooting abilities.
• Be able to lead code reviews and provide constructive feedback for high-quality code and test automation practices.
