Job Purpose

ICE Data Services India Private Limited., a subsidiary of Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. is seeking a passionate QA Engineer to join our Quality Assurance team in Hyderabad, India. The candidate will work closely internally with Business Analysts, End-Users and Developers to facilitate and understand requirements and impact of changes in order to assist debugging and enhancing ICE Data Service applications.

Responsibilities

• Review functional requirements to assess their impact on the software applications and formulate tests cases from them
• Write concise, complete, well organized test cases, bug reports and status reports
• Participate in setup, configuration and maintenance of software test environments
• Evaluate the application and test cases to be automated. Work with team to write automation test scripts and create a library of automated tests to maximize test coverage
• Contribute to team by performing analysis, monitoring systems and assisting technical & product managers in the evaluation of QA processes
• Provide release support during production software deployment
• Have \'break-it\' attitude and at the same time be a problem solver

Knowledge and Experience

• 6+ years\' experience testing applications
• B.S. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Math or equivalent
• Must have hands on experience with developing VBScripts for UFT automation
• Experience in the Financial Industry preferred
• Hands-on experience with basic server administration, including configuring files, starts and stops
• Good understanding of Quality Assurance concepts, practices and tools
• Strong communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Attention to detail and ability to work on multiple projects at same time
• Experience with mainstream defect tracking tools and test management tools
• Good knowledge and hands-on experience with following technologies:

• MySQL / Oracle
• LINUX system

Schedule

This role offers work from home flexibility of up to 2 days per week.
