About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented

Senior QA Automation Engineer

to join our growing engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks and test cases to ensure the quality of our products. You will work closely with development, product, and DevOps teams to implement testing strategies and improve test coverage across the board.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and execute robust automated test scripts for web, API, and/or mobile applications using tools like Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, TestNG, etc. Implement and maintain scalable automation frameworks. Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and translate them into test cases. Perform functional, regression, smoke, performance, and integration testing. Identify, document, and track bugs to closure using tools like JIRA. Participate in code reviews and contribute to quality assurance best practices. Analyze test results, debug issues, and work with the engineering team to resolve them quickly. Continuously improve test coverage and automation pipelines. Mentor junior QA engineers and help improve testing standards and processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Minimum

4 years of experience

in QA automation (including UI, API, and/or performance testing). Strong programming/scripting knowledge in languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript. Hands-on experience with automation tools like

Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium

, or similar. Solid understanding of

REST APIs

and tools like

Postman

or

RestAssured

. Experience with

CI/CD pipelines

(e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI). Good knowledge of version control systems (Git). Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus. Exposure to Agile methodologies and working in sprint cycles.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in performance testing (e.g., JMeter, Gatling). Knowledge of containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes). ISTQB or equivalent certification is a plus. Experience in testing microservices architecture.
