We\'re looking for an Automated QA Engineer with previous experience of working on software products with a focus on Web Platforms, Websites, and Mobile Apps A minimum of 3+ years of experience is required As a member of the Tech Alchemy team, you will be exposed to exciting startup projects across many industries such as Finance, Health, Hospitality, Agriculture, and others Most startup products vary in scope and key business goals with stakeholders are often open to developmental ideas You should combine technical, communicative, and analytical skills and also enjoy mentoring junior staff, code reviewing, and engineering culture Responsibilities: Work in a fluid Agile process, with a sprint-based focus on accurate estimations, quality deliverables, and responding to feedback. Collaborate with other team members to implement and ship new features Testing the ideas for new features using a risk-based mindset for structuring your testing. Fault finding, debugging, and diagnostics. Give constructive feedback relating to team performance, with the aim to improve work culture. You will be working remotely and working closely with an exceptionally talented Must Have: 4+ years of proven experience in software quality assurance, with a track record of mentoring QA efforts in software projects. Expertise in various software testing methodologies, including Functional, Regression, Sanity, Smoke, Integration, Cross browser and compatibility testing. Strong skills in designing, implementing, and maintaining automated test scripts using test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium). Experience with API testing concepts and tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured or Swagger) Familiar with Agile process via JIRA. Experience with Android/iOS mobile application testing Advanced problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex issues and perform root cause analysis. Proficiency in defect identification, reporting, tracking, and management using bug tracking systems. Experience in conducting Performance testing using JMeter or other tools. Good understanding of networking protocols and concepts like REST, HTTP/HTTPS. Great English communication skills as well as collaboration skills and a strong teamwork mentality. Demonstrated leadership skills, including mentoring junior QA team members and providing guidance on best practices. Nice to have: Familiar with Git and source code control. Familiarity with integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins. Implement strategies for managing test data effectively in complex testing scenarios. Experience in creating and maintaining comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
