Job Description


Aspire Systems, Inc. has an opening for a Senior QA Analyst at its main office in Oakbrook, IL. The QA Analyst will work with Aspire\xe2\x80\x99s customers to test highly customized software products using proprietary programs, automation tools and other processes developed by our company. The QA Analyst will work under the direct control and supervision of Aspire Systems at all times. The specific responsibilities include:
Technical Testing

Understand the architecture and design of existing products, develop test scenarios, test cases and document the testing process;
Analyze and understand software requirements for the assigned unit;
Perform impact analysis on test results and suggest ways to improve testing;
Test case preparation from the test scenario/requirement specifications, evaluate results and perform root cause analysis of the defects;
Develop integration test cases considering the Company framework that is unique and different from models previously used by the customer.

Project Delivery

Responsible for planning of the work product; Requirements Analysis of product and performing impact analysis on the test results;
Test execution, analyzation and categorization of any functional deviation, database or systems issues;
Prepare and produce releases of the product with deployment activities being handled;
Build test coverage and map the test scenarios and test cases.

Quality Assurance

Responsible for updating and maintaining the Requirements Traceability Matrix;
Explore and solve technical issues and adhere to the specified quality standards;
Ensure that tested software meets technical requirements;
Adhere to organization wide processes and policies (security, quality, resource usage);
Develop standards to ensure that quality levels and customer specifications are met without compromise;
Adhere to defined processes and standards and mentor a team to implement processes.

Coordination

Collect requirements from the customer in order to analyze and prioritize;
Interact with the customer daily through emails and calls to discuss requirements and clarifications;
Coordinate with the development team with detailed instructions for improvement/correction if technical requirements are not met;
Engage in negotiating the timelines and deadlines of each release.

Research and Development

Before adding any new feature to the product, run technical feasibility studies with different approaches and collect outcomes;
Based on found feasibility, prepare decision analysis and resolution and come up with the final approach;
Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies.

Minimum Requirements:
Bachelors or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, plus 3 years of experience in related field. Experience in working with various phases of the Software Testing Life Cycle and should have worked with automation tools and multiple QA methodologies like Selenium, Tricentis TOSCA, Cucumber, Adobe Genie, Sikuli, Appium, Protractor, Muex Tool, Cypress IO & Ranorex,JMeter, Load runner, Performance Center,New Relic, Grafana, DataDog, Dynatrace,C#, Java, Ruby & JavaScript,MS Unit, NUnit, TestNG,SQL, MySQL & Oracle,SVN, Git,Visual Studio, Eclipse, Ruby Mine,ALM 11.0, Rally, QAComplete, JIRA, qTest,Windows, Mac,HTML, XML, .Net,Web, Mobile Native & Web Apps, Windows CE devices, POS.
