Job Description

We are seeking an experienced

Senior Python / Django Developer

to join our dynamic team. You will lead the development of scalable web applications, design robust backend systems, and mentor junior developers to deliver high-quality code and innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain web applications using

Python

and

Django Framework

. Build and integrate

RESTful APIs

and third-party services. Ensure code quality, scalability, and performance optimization. Manage database architecture and optimize queries (PostgreSQL / MySQL). Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements. Lead technical discussions, code reviews, and provide mentorship to team members. Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems. Implement best practices in

software development

version control

, and

deployment

. Work closely with the project manager and stakeholders to deliver projects on time.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

5+ years

of hands-on experience in

Python

and

Django Framework

. Strong understanding of

Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)

and

design patterns

. Experience with

Django Rest Framework (DRF)

and

API development

. Proficiency in

SQL databases

(PostgreSQL, MySQL). Experience with

Git

,

Docker

, and

CI/CD pipelines

. Good understanding of

front-end technologies

(HTML, CSS, JavaScript). Familiarity with

cloud platforms

(AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
