Techolution is looking out for a smart and dynamic Sr. Python Developer to help us achieve the set vision and mission of the organization. The Sr. Python Developer will be responsible for Developing, testing, and maintaining high-quality Python code and libraries for various software applications within the company. This may include Maintenance and update of data catalog and indexing pipelines (Python+Ray, SQL, distributed computing, big data) and also Maintenance of search backend services created in Python in coordination with a web full-stack team. Title : Sr. Python Developer Location : Complete Remote work Shift: 2PM- 11PM IST Responsibilities: Developing, testing, and maintaining high-quality Python code and libraries for various software applications. Maintenance and update of data catalog and indexing pipelines (Python+Ray, SQL, distributed computing, big data) Maintenance of search backend services created in Python in coordination with a web full-stack team. Improvements to Elasticsearch cluster, both in infrastructure and performance. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement new software features and enhancements. Conducting code reviews and ensuring that code meets the required standards of quality, performance, and maintainability. Developing and maintaining automated testing frameworks and tools to ensure software quality. Troubleshooting and debugging complex software issues and providing solutions to resolve them. Participating in the design and architecture of software systems and applications. Mentoring and coaching junior developers and contributing to their professional development. Keeping up to date with new technologies and trends in the Python programming language and software development industry. Mandatory Skills: Minimum 6 to 8 yrs of overall experience required. Strong Python Backend development experience. Strong expertise with Actor framework /Ray (Distributed Computing/ Parallel processing). Knowledge of any RDBMS (PostgreSQL/ Oracle/ MySQL/ MS SQL). Knowledge of BigQuery and ElasticSearch.
