Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Python Developer to join our Security Team. This role requires a highly skilled individual who can design, develop, and maintain robust and secure Python applications. You will work closely with our team to develop algorithms and engine rules, manage data operations using BigQuery, and implement automation and data ingestion solutions.

Responsibilities:

Algorithm and Engine Development: Collaborate with the team to understand requirements and design, develop, and optimize algorithms and engine rules using Python. BigQuery Utilization: Use BigQuery as the backend to perform operations, including generic SQL and BigQuery-specific tasks. Scripting: Write and maintain Bash and PowerShell scripts to automate tasks and manage system configurations. API Development: Develop and maintain APIs using the Flask framework to support various applications and data integrations. Data Ingestion: Implement and manage data ingestion pipelines to handle large volumes of data from various upstream sources. Testing and Quality Assurance: Implement unit tests to ensure code reliability, maintainability, and overall system performance. Issue Analysis and Debugging: Analyze system issues, debug, track, and resolve problems effectively to ensure smooth operation and security.

Experience Required:

Python Development: 7+ years of experience in writing, debugging, and troubleshooting Python code. Database Expertise: 7+ years of experience writing PL/SQL stored procedures, functions, and triggers. Web Frameworks: 5+ years of experience developing applications using Flask or similar web frameworks. CI/CD Pipelines: 5+ years of experience deploying and releasing software using Jenkins and CI/CD pipelines. Data Management: 3+ years of experience in data handling, management, and ETL processes. API Calls: 3+ years of experience with data extraction using API calls. Big Data Solutions: 1+ year of experience with big data processing solutions such as BigQuery, Pub/Sub, and Google Cloud Storage (GCS). Version Control: Proficiency in using source code control management systems like GitHub.

Preferred Qualifications:

Angular: Any experience with Angular is a plus. Looker Studio: Any experience with Looker Studio is a plus.
