Purpose of the Job: Leading procurement of pharma end product formulations from various third party pharma manufacturing Co's for both inhouse & outsourced contract manufacturing services for various companiesr r Position Title: Sr. Manager/AGM r r Function / Department: Purchaser r Travel Required: Yesr r Functional Reporting Manager: General Manager Administrative r r Qualification: B.Pharma Professional Desired Certifications Compensation ranger r / Responsibilities:- Manages global procurement of raw-materials (API), Excipients, packaging materials, for all the formulation manufacturing facilities.- Identification of potential suppliers and assessing their suitability as per the company policy.- Negotiation on Prices, payment terms, supply part with vendors.- Periodic review and monitoring of MRP to avoid under/over procurement.- Review the pending orders & make necessary follow up for dispatch & delivery of the materials in time.- Monitor the approval and rejections of the materials in sync with the quality teams- In case of rejections, inform the vendors of the reasons for rejections and arrange the replacement of materials in time.- Remains current on market trends with competitors, suppliers, and maintains procurement pipelines with alternative vendors to ensure corporate standards are maintainedKey Interfaces Internal :Employees and Management External:Vendors and SuppliersSkills / Competency : Excellent communication & negotiation skills Proficiency Level (General Awareness; Working Knowledge; Functional Expert; Mastery)
