Job Description

Own end-to-end purchasing for products we market in India. Place POs on our manufacturing partners, follow up on production/dispatch, and ensure on-time, in-full (OTIF) deliveries at the right cost and quality.

Key Responsibilities

Vendor & PO Management:

Raise RFQs, compare quotes, finalize rates/MOQs/lead times, issue

Purchase Orders

, and track until GRN.

Follow-ups:

Daily coordination with manufacturers for artwork approval, batch planning, packing, dispatch dates, and shipment documents.

Materials & Docs:

Ensure COA, invoice/HSN/GST, e-invoice/e-way (as applicable), batch/expiry, labels/MRP compliance before dispatch.

Inventory Control:

Maintain

reorder levels/safety stock

, monitor ageing/near-expiry, and prevent stock-outs across divisions.

Cost & Claims:

Negotiate rates and freight; handle shortages, damages, quality claims, and debit notes with timely closure.

Data & ERP:

Update ERP/Excel trackers (PO vs. received, OTIF, lead time, price history); publish weekly MIS to management.

Supplier Development:

Onboard alternate vendors; maintain rate contracts and performance scorecards.

Cross-Functional:

Work with Sales/Warehouse/Accounts/QA for priorities, GRN, payments, and quality documentation.

Requirements

Requirements

Experience:

3-5 years

in pharma purchasing/supply chain (preferably third-party/contract manufacturing).

Education:

Graduate; B.Pharm/BBA/MBA (Supply Chain) is a plus.

Skills:

Strong negotiation,

Excel

(Pivot, XLOOKUP/SUMIFS), ERP familiarity, GST basics, documentation rigor, clear English/Hindi communication.
