Job Summary

The Senior Purchase Executive is responsible for

end-to-end procurement and strategic sourcing

, with a strong focus on

LED lighting and power electronics components

. The role ensures cost-efficient sourcing, strong vendor relationships, and uninterrupted material availability aligned with production and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Manage

end-to-end procurement activities

for LED lighting components, power electronics, electrical materials, raw materials, consumables, and services. Identify, evaluate, develop, and manage a strong network of

domestic and international vendors

for LED components, drivers, PCBs, semiconductors, optics, fixtures, connectors, and related electrical items. Negotiate

pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and contracts

to achieve cost optimization without compromising quality or timelines. Process purchase requisitions and issue

Purchase Orders (POs) exclusively through SAP Business One (SAP B1)

, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Track purchase orders in

SAP B1

from placement to delivery and coordinate with vendors, logistics, and stores for timely receipt. Review and evaluate

vendor quotations

to ensure alignment with technical specifications, quality standards, and commercial terms. Monitor

inventory and stock levels

in SAP B1 to avoid production delays or excess inventory, coordinating closely with production planning and stores. Track market trends, component availability, and price movements in the

LED lighting and power electronics industry

, recommending alternate sourcing and cost-saving initiatives. Evaluate supplier performance on quality, cost, and delivery, and implement corrective actions as required. Ensure compliance with procurement policies, statutory requirements, and internal/external audit standards. Guide, mentor, and support junior purchase team members to strengthen procurement operations.

Qualifications & Skills

Educational Background:

Diploma / Degree in

Electronics, Electrical & Electronics, or Power Electronics

only.

Experience:

4-8 years of relevant experience

specifically in

LED lighting and power electronics procurement

(mandatory). Strong technical knowledge of

LED systems, drivers, semiconductors, PCBs, power electronics, optics, and connectors

.

Hands-on working experience with SAP Business One (SAP B1)

is mandatory. Proven skills in

vendor development, negotiation, and cost optimization

. Strong analytical and planning skills with a quality- and cost-focused mindset. Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership abilities.
