Plan, manage, and control procurement of construction materials and services
Develop procurement strategies aligned with project schedules and budgets
Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable vendors and subcontractors
Lead price negotiations, rate contracts, and finalization of suppliers
Approve purchase requisitions, comparative statements, and purchase orders
Ensure timely material delivery as per project requirements
Coordinate closely with project, site, stores, and finance teams
Monitor inventory levels and control excess/obsolete stock
Ensure adherence to BOQ, technical specifications, and quality standards
Track market trends, price variations, and mitigate supply risks
Ensure compliance with internal controls, audits, and documentation
Mentor and supervise the purchase team and improve process efficiency
Desired Skills & Competencies:
Strong knowledge of construction materials and vendor markets
Excellent negotiation, contract management, and leadership skills
Sound understanding of BOQ, budgeting, and cost control
Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Excel
Strong analytical, planning, and coordination skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and tight timelines
