furniture manufacturing

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement procurement strategies for furniture manufacturing materials. Identify, evaluate, and manage suppliers and vendors for quality, cost-efficiency, and reliability. Handle purchase of raw materials: wood, plywood, laminates, MDF, particle boards, fittings, accessories, etc. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with production and store teams to maintain optimal stock levels. Negotiate terms and pricing with suppliers to achieve cost savings without compromising quality. Raise purchase orders, follow-up on deliveries, and ensure timely availability of materials. Maintain supplier performance data and prepare procurement reports. Ensure compliance with quality standards and company policies. Collaborate with design, production, and project teams to forecast material requirements. Maintain strong market knowledge of new materials, innovations, and cost trends in the furniture industry.

Candidate Requirements:

Experience:

Minimum 3 years in a similar role within the

furniture manufacturing

industry.

Education:

Graduate in any discipline;

MBA preferred

. Strong knowledge of materials used in modular furniture and kitchen manufacturing. Proficient in ERP systems and MS Office (Excel, Word). Excellent negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills. Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Pay: ₹12,376.66 - ₹35,000.00 per month
