JOB OVERVIEW:



The Senior Project Officer (SPO) will be responsible for coordinating and implementing EMPBindi's solar and renewable energy initiatives under the Women Prosperity and Inclusion (WPI) Program across Rajasthan.

Based at Harmara, Ajmer, the SPO will oversee field operations, monitor progress, manage community engagement, and ensure that project goals are achieved efficiently and effectively.

The role involves frequent travel to project locations, close coordination with technical, procurement, and community teams, and proactive engagement with rural stakeholders to drive the mission of women-led solar entrepreneurship and sustainable energy access.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:



1. Project Implementation



? Plan and execute on-ground project activities including solar installations, training sessions, and awareness campaigns.

? Supervise and support field coordinators, trainers, and mobilizers to ensure smooth field operations.

? Monitor day-to-day progress and ensure adherence to project timelines, quality standards, and safety protocols.

? Identify field challenges and propose timely, practical solutions to maintain workflow continuity.

2. Field Coordination and Supervision



? Coordinate with community leaders, Gram Panchayats, SHGs, schools, and local institutions for project mobilization.

? Facilitate regular field meetings, awareness drives, and review sessions with local stakeholders.

? Ensure proper documentation and data collection for each activity conducted at field level.

? Track operational logistics and ensure timely delivery and installation of solar systems.

3. Monitoring, Evaluation, and Reporting



? Collect and verify data on installations, training, and community outreach.

? Maintain detailed records, trackers, and dashboards for all project components.

? Prepare weekly and monthly reports with field photographs, beneficiary lists, and key achievements.

? Highlight implementation gaps, challenges, and suggested corrective measures.

4. Community Engagement and Capacity Building



? Mobilize and train rural women and youth for solar entrepreneurship, maintenance, and related livelihood activities.

? Conduct sessions to raise awareness on clean energy, climate action, and sustainable living practices.

? Gather community feedback, document success stories, and promote local ownership of initiatives.

? Encourage women's participation and leadership in all stages of project implementation.

5. Procurement and Logistics Coordination



? Support procurement and dispatch of solar components, tools, and training materials to field sites.

? Maintain records of inventory and equipment distribution at the project level.

? Coordinate with vendors for delivery schedules and ensure material quality and accountability.

? Track and report field-level expenditures and ensure compliance with financial protocols.

6. Communication and Documentation



? Document field learnings, beneficiary outcomes, and success stories for internal and external reporting.

? Provide timely updates, case studies, and visuals for donor communication and organizational reports.

? Maintain accurate documentation and filing of field reports, attendance, and progress records.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:



? Bachelor's degree in Renewable Energy, Rural Development, Social Work, or Engineering.

? 1-3 years of experience in implementing community-based or renewable energy projects.

? Strong understanding of solar systems, women's enterprises, and rural development programs.

? Proficiency in MS Office, Google Suite, and digital data collection tools.

? Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in Hindi and English (Rajasthani dialect preferred).

? Willingness to travel extensively across Rajasthan for field supervision and community engagement.

Job Types: Full-time, Contractual / Temporary

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
