For a Concentrated Solar Power Demonstration Plant we are looking for a full time young and dynamic Manager with Master's degree in related field - Minimum of 8-10 years of experience as a Project Manager in Solar Power - Strong knowledge of Solar Energy. The role involves managing end-to-end project development--from conceptualization to commissioning--ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, quality, and safety standards. The position demands strong technical expertise in solar thermal or hybrid CSP technologies, stakeholder management, and large-scale renewable energy project delivery.
Roles and Responsibilities
1. Project Planning & Management
Lead the complete lifecycle of the CSP demonstration project--feasibility, design, procurement, installation, and commissioning.
Develop and monitor detailed project schedules, cost plans, and risk mitigation strategies.
Ensure alignment with Renewable Energy Department guidelines, policies, and technical standards.
Supervise EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) contractors, consultants, and technology partners.
2. Technical Oversight
Evaluate and finalize technical specifications for CSP components (solar collectors, heat transfer systems, thermal storage, power block, etc.).
Coordinate performance testing, validation, and integration with grid or hybrid systems.
Provide technical leadership in adopting innovative CSP technologies suited for Rajasthan's climatic conditions.
3. Stakeholder & Coordination
Liaise with government agencies, regulatory authorities, research institutions, and funding partners.
Facilitate coordination between multidisciplinary teams--civil, mechanical, electrical, and environmental engineers.
Represent the project in review meetings, progress presentations, and technical audits.
4. Financial & Contractual Management
Oversee project budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting.
Review and negotiate vendor contracts, MoUs, and service agreements.
Ensure compliance with all statutory, regulatory, and environmental norms.
5. Monitoring & Reporting
Track project KPIs--schedule adherence, cost variance, performance metrics, and energy output targets.
Prepare daily, monthly, quarterly, and final project progress reports for the management and funding agencies.
Implement best practices in project documentation, safety, and quality assurance.
