The Senior Project Manager oversees high-value or complex steel detailing projects and provides strategic leadership across multiple project teams. This role ensures the successful delivery of projects in terms of quality, schedule, budget, and client satisfaction. The Senior Project Manager also mentors project managers, improves processes, and contributes to business development and operational planning.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the planning and execution of large-scale or technically complex steel, rebar, piping and mechanical detailing projects. Manage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring alignment with client expectations, schedules, and internal capacity. Act as the senior point of contact for key clients and stakeholders, maintaining clear, proactive, and professional communication. Oversee project performance metrics, including budget control, resource utilization, and quality assurance. Ensure adherence to 3D Engineering's Quality Management System (QMS) standards across all project stages. Participate in reviewing and updating QMS documentation and processes to drive continuous improvement. Manage, mentor, and train project managers and other team members to build capability and improve performance. Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and support professional development plans. Guide and support project managers in problem-solving, risk mitigation, and team leadership. Collaborate with senior leadership on project forecasting, staffing plans, and client development strategies. Contribute to internal process improvement, including project management frameworks, tools, and reporting systems. Ensure compliance with company standards, contract obligations, and legal requirements. Conduct project reviews and post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

15+ years of experience in steel detailing or BIM project delivery, with significant leadership responsibility. Deep understanding of detailing, fabrication, and erection processes. Proven success managing large, complex, or fast-track projects. Strong leadership, mentoring, and team development skills. Advanced communication and negotiation abilities, particularly in client-facing scenarios. Proficiency in industry-standard software (Tekla Structures, Bocad, Advance Steel, Autodesk, Trimble, etc.). Experience with project management tools, Budget tracking, and reporting. Project management certification (e.g., PMP or equivalent) preferred but not mandatory.

On-time and on-budget project delivery across multiple teams. Client retention and satisfaction across high-value accounts. Performance and development of project managers under supervision. Contribution to process improvement and operational efficiency. Risk management effectiveness and issue resolution. Strategic input into company growth and capability planning.

Pay: ?90,000.00 - ?150,000.00 per month
