Job Profile

The Senior Project Manager will act as the execution owner for Woilink--ensuring product features, improvements, fixes, and launches are delivered on time, within scope, and with quality. This role bridges Founder vision, engineering execution, and business priorities.

This is not a documentation-only role. The person must understand technology, ask the right questions, challenge developers, and enforce delivery discipline.

Core Responsibilities

Product & Delivery Ownership

Own end-to-end delivery of Woilink product roadmap

Convert founder requirements into clear technical tasks

Break features into sprints, milestones, and deliverables

Ensure realistic timelines and prevent scope creep

Track dependencies across Next.js, React, PHP, design, and content teams

Team Coordination & Accountability

Run daily standups, weekly planning, and sprint reviews

Assign tasks and follow up relentlessly until closure

Identify blockers early and resolve them proactively

Ensure developers do not idle or over-engineer

Enforce coding standards, documentation, and handover

Technical Understanding (Must-Have)

Understand frontend (Next.js / React) and backend (PHP / APIs) concepts

Review API flows, feature logic, and integrations at a functional level

Validate estimates provided by developers

Ensure performance, security, and scalability considerations are followed

Quality Control & Testing

Ensure proper testing before release (functional + regression)

Coordinate bug fixing and release stabilization

Maintain bug tracker and release notes

Validate features against original requirements

Tools, Process & Reporting

Manage tasks using Jira / ClickUp / GitLab

Maintain sprint dashboards and delivery reports

Prepare weekly progress reports for founder

Enforce SOPs for development, deployment, and releases

Coordinate with DevOps for production pushes

Required Skills & Experience

Mandatory

5-10 years experience as Project Manager in software / SaaS / product companies

Strong understanding of web technologies

Proven experience managing cross-functional teams

Excellent communication and task-driving ability

Experience handling remote / hybrid teams

Strong documentation and requirement-writing skills

Strongly Preferred

Experience in SaaS, subscription products, or marketplaces

Exposure to Agile / Scrum delivery models

Experience working with founders or startups

Ability to push back when requirements are unclear or unrealistic

Experience with Git-based workflows

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?25,000.00 - ?55,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

Kochi, Kerala: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
