The Senior Project Manager is responsible for overseeing, coordinating, and delivering interior fit-out projects from inception to completion. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and client management skills to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Planning & Execution
Lead project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
Develop detailed project programs, timelines, and milestone schedules.
Ensure all works are executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and industry standards.
2. Client & Stakeholder Management
Act as the main point of contact for clients, consultants, and contractors.
Manage client expectations and maintain strong client relationships.
Conduct regular project meetings and prepare progress reports.
3. Site & Team Management
Oversee site execution, safety compliance, and quality control.
Supervise project engineers, site managers, and subcontractors.
Monitor manpower productivity and ensure timely resolution of site issues.
4. Commercial & Contractual Oversight
Work closely with the QS/commercial team for cost control, procurement, and contract administration.
Identify variations, claims, and manage contractual obligations.
Ensure project profitability and efficient resource utilization.
5. Risk & Compliance
Identify potential project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
Ensure compliance with local regulations, health & safety, and company policies.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering / Architecture / Construction Management or related field.
Minimum
10+ years of experience
in project management, with at least
5 years in interior fit-out projects
.
Proven track record of delivering high-end commercial, retail, or residential fit-out projects.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, interior finishes, MEP coordination, and joinery works.
Excellent communication, leadership, and negotiation skills.
Proficiency in MS Project/Primavera, AutoCAD, and other project management tools.
