Job Summary:

We are hiring an experienced and results-driven Senior Project Manager to lead a hospital construction project in Abuja, Nigeria. The ideal candidate will manage all aspects of project execution, from vendor coordination to client handling, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards. Familiarity with local conditions and the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the planning and execution of the hospital project from initiation to completion. Coordinate with clients, consultants, and local authorities for approvals and compliance. Manage and evaluate new vendors and subcontractors, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality. Oversee day-to-day site operations and resolve any technical or logistical issues. Ensure all project activities meet health, safety, and environmental regulations. Monitor budgets, timelines, procurement, and workforce management. Submit progress reports to the Project Head and maintain open lines of communication. Build strong relationships with local personnel and communities to support smooth operations.
Candidate Requirements:

Experience: 15-20 years in civil construction project management; prior experience in hospital or healthcare projects is highly desirable. Education: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred). Skills: Strong leadership, client management, budgeting, and scheduling skills. Familiarity: Knowledge of local work culture, regulations, and people is mandatory. Mobility: Must have a valid passport and be willing to relocate to Abuja, Nigeria. Communication: Proficiency in English with the ability to communicate across multicultural teams.
Compensation:

USD 3,000 per month
(Includes accommodation, travel, and other project-related benefits)
