Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced

Senior Project Manager

to oversee large-scale construction projects in the Oil & Gas sector. This pivotal on-site leadership role demands a hands-on professional who can drive project delivery, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency across all phases. The position is based at the GAIL India Ltd - USAR site in Alibagh, Mumbai.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Leadership:

Oversee and manage the end-to-end execution of construction projects, from planning to completion.

Scope & Budget Management:

Define project timelines, budgets, and deliverables in alignment with client needs and contractual requirements.

Team Leadership:

Lead on-site teams, subcontractors, and consultants to ensure smooth execution and timely delivery.

Safety & Compliance:

Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.

Progress Monitoring:

Track project milestones, resolve issues, and maintain alignment with project goals.

Procurement Oversight:

Manage procurement of materials, equipment, and services while ensuring cost-effectiveness.

Risk Mitigation:

Identify potential project risks and devise proactive solutions.

Stakeholder Communication:

Coordinate with clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities to ensure successful project outcomes.

Documentation & Reporting:

Prepare reports, MIS updates, and project documentation as required.

Project Handover:

Ensure smooth project closure with final inspections and proper handover procedures.

Qualifications & Experience:

Educational Background:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management (Master's degree preferred).

Certifications:

PMP, PRINCE2, RICS, or other relevant certifications are an added advantage.

Professional Experience:

7-15 years of experience in managing large-scale industrial or infrastructure projects, preferably in the Oil & Gas sector.

Technical Skills:

Proficient in project management tools such as Primavera P6, MS Project, AutoCAD, BIM, etc.

Contract Knowledge:

Solid understanding of construction contracts (FIDIC or similar) and industry methodologies.

Leadership Skills:

Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Regulatory & Safety Compliance:

In-depth knowledge of safety, quality assurance, and compliance standards.
