Project planning and execution
Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, resources, and cost estimates.
Oversee project execution, ensuring it aligns with the plan and quality standards.
Conduct feasibility studies and technical reviews of designs.
Manage project changes and support the Change Control process.
Budget and resource management
Create and manage engineering budgets, providing cost estimates and justifying expenditures.
Track project costs, manage resources efficiently, and ensure projects are completed within budget.
Approve material and equipment costs.
Team leadership and development
Lead and mentor project teams, assigning responsibilities and providing technical guidance.
Foster professional growth and technical skill development in junior engineers.
Collaborate with internal and external teams, including management, production, and quality assurance.
Risk management and compliance
Identify potential risks early and develop mitigation strategies.
Ensure projects comply with all relevant regulations, codes, and standards.
Perform root cause analysis and resolve problems as they arise.
Communication and reporting
Prepare and deliver regular project status reports to management and clients.
Communicate project progress, issues, and results effectively to stakeholders.
Maintain clear and focused communication, clarifying client needs when necessary.
