Job Summary



We are looking for a high-impact

Senior Project Engineer

to drive the on-site execution of our flagship commercial building project. You will be the primary technical authority on-site, responsible for translating engineering designs into physical reality. The Senior Project Engineer manages the critical intersection of quality, safety, and productivity, ensuring that subcontractors and field teams perform with surgical precision while adhering to strict 2025 sustainability and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities



Site Execution Leadership:

Direct and oversee all on-site construction activities, ensuring work aligns with structural drawings, architectural specifications, and the project baseline schedule.

Technical Problem Solving:

Resolve complex technical issues and "clashes" on-site by coordinating with the design team and utilizing BIM (Building Information Modeling) for real-time visualization.

Subcontractor Management:

Lead multidisciplinary teams (Civil, MEP, HVAC, Finishing) to ensure seamless handovers between trades and eliminate idle time.

Quality Assurance & Control (QA/QC):

Implement rigorous inspection regimes and "Method Statements" to ensure zero-defect construction and compliance with local building codes.

Safety & Compliance:

Enforce the highest standards of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) protocols, ensuring a culture of safety across all labor tiers.

Material & Resource Management:

Verify material requisitions, track on-site inventory, and prevent wastage through Lean Construction principles.

Progress Documentation:

Author high-level technical reports, manage

RFIs (Request for Information)

, and approve "As-Built" drawings upon project phase completion.

Required Qualifications



Education:

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in

Civil Engineering

or Structural Engineering.

Experience:

8-12 years in commercial construction, with at least 3 years in a leadership role on high-rise or large-scale commercial developments.

Technical Mastery:

Management:

Proficiency in Procore or Autodesk Construction Cloud for field management.

Design:

Proficiency in AutoCAD and Navisworks for clash detection and site coordination.

Planning Awareness:

Solid understanding of Primavera P6 logic to ensure site activities reflect the master plan.

Standards:

Thorough knowledge of IS/international building codes and modern construction methodologies (e.g., pre-cast, post-tensioning).

Core Competencies



Decision-Making:

Ability to make high-stakes technical calls under pressure to prevent project delays.

Leadership:

A proven track record of mentoring junior engineers and managing large, diverse labor forces.

Communication:

Fluent in bridging the gap between top-level management and ground-level execution teams.

Professional Certifications (Highly Valued)



PMP (Project Management Professional). Chartered Engineer (C.Eng) status. Advanced HSE certifications (e.g., NEBOSH).
