Senior Project Architect - Design & Build (Facade)

Key Purpose of the Job (Position Summary):
To lead and manage the timely execution of design projects

while ensuring that design quality consistently exceeds client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Management
1. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and other external stakeholders.

2. Capture project requirements, seek approvals/feedback, and provide clarifications throughout project stages.

3. Manage client expectations regarding concept, design, execution, cost, and timelines.

4. Ensure effective communication with clients, consultants, and vendors.

Innovation & Creativity
1. Interpret project briefs (requirements, budget, site constraints) and propose unique design concepts.

2. Integrate latest technologies, materials, and processes into designs.

3. Research and stay updated on advances in thematic design and construction.

4. Foster creativity and innovation within the design team.

5. Ensure feasibility of designs with respect to cost, timelines, construction methods, and material availability.

Project Execution
1. Prepare and review architectural and construction design development.

2. Oversee presentation drawings, working drawings, tender drawings, BOQs, and specifications.

3. Ensure designs and drawings comply with domestic and international standards.

4. Review architectural, civil, structural, and theme details including shop drawings.

5. Coordinate between design and execution teams on technical and commercial aspects.

6. Conduct site visits, audits, and regular project reviews to ensure adherence to approved designs and schedules.

Process Orientation
? Ensure compliance with SoPs for project documentation.

? Review submission of drawing registers on a monthly basis.

? Maintain proper documentation with support from the document controller.

? Ensure project execution complies with contractual terms and raise claims for additional works where applicable.

People Management
? Plan manpower budgets and schedules; oversee hiring for the design team.

? Provide regular performance reviews and constructive feedback.

? Enhance productivity and maintain high morale among team members.

? Create learning and professional growth opportunities for team members.

? Foster collaboration and effective communication across internal teams.

Support Functions
? Provide support to business development and marketing teams.

? Participate in marketing exhibitions and conferences.

? Contribute content for internal publications, newsletters, and brochures.

Key Skills / Experience Required

Educational Qualification
? Bachelor's degree in Civil / Mechanical

Engineering or Architecture (Master's preferred).

? Project management certification (PMP or equivalent) is a plus.

Additional Qualifications / certifications
? AutoCAD, 3D Max, Google SketchUp, Photoshop, etc.

Other skills (preferred)
? Strong communication and presentation skills.

? Assertiveness and ability to ask the right questions.

? Knowledge of project management fundamentals.

Prior experience
? 5-10 years of experience in architecture and civil working design.

? Experience in handling at least 8-10 projects from concept to completion.

? Minimum 7 years of independent client / consultant handling.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?1,000,000.00 - ?1,500,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
