We are a team of doers who work passionately to apply continuous and scalable innovations to solve real world challenges that transforms customer experience like never imagined yet Amazon is looking for a Senior Program Manager with a strong delivery record and proven product management experience to own and execute strategic, cross-functional new initiatives and technology projects in the packaging team. The SPM will lead the launch of innovative products and solutions aimed at improving the efficiency and lowering the cost with improved customer experience. Exceptional analytical skills with out of box problem solving skills to solve problems in hand at scale is essential for role. Cross-team coordination, project management and executive presentation skills are essential. This role is located in Bangalore. Responsibilities include: . Capture and synthesize the Voice of the Customer (VoC) for all new product introductions and leverage this information to prioritize system defects and lead the triage efforts with product development. . Performing dive deeps into the multiple elements that govern the decision making behind the pack recommendation logic for every Amazon order, across all fulfilment channels. Build, maintain, and communicate product launch plans and track the deliverables, milestones, risks and dependencies from the cross functional launch team. . Anticipate bottlenecks, explore contingencies and provide escalation management throughout new product launch. . Working closely with a multitude of stakeholders to come up with initiatives to reduce cost, and taking them through senior leadership for guidance and ultimately approval. . Working very closely with the other geos of Amazon operations, create single vision for product charter. . Working very closely with product teams to see through the product interventions needed for the program to scale and have a substantial impact box fitment logic. . Work as Subject Matter expert of box recommendation logics, learn and enhance input algorithms. . You will be responsible to manage the boxweb (self serve portal) and configurations related to new site launch, or program launch . Benchmarking our practices with the best in class (whether internal or external), and using it to own and influence the long term vision. . Innovating to improve customer experience, and relentlessly working towards contributing to the sustainability goals of Amazon. A successful candidate will also demonstrate: . dive deep to unearth insights along with nick of experience, hands-on, Technical or Product Manager with strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to influence business and technical leaders in a dynamic environment . High ability to influence stakeholders without authority, and march them along towards a common agenda. . High attention to detail including proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously. . Ability to think strategically and execute methodically. . Demonstrated analytical and quantitative skills and ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases. . Ability to write simple and effective documents, for presentation to and review by senior leaders. We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations: Bengaluru, KA, IND BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - 8+ years of program or project management experience - Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements - Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership - Experience in complex problem solving, and working in a tight schedule environment PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - 5+ years of driving process improvements experience - Master\'s degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field - 3+ years of application product management experience
