Aufgaben

1. Lead a team 20+ Engineer on AD/ADAS Software Development for vehicle positioning using High definition MAP/GNSS and onboard sensor
2. Analyze the performance of the ADAS sensors / SW functions; take up improvement / optimization with Suppliers.
3. Handle customer aspects, optimally create and manage resources and meet the cost, quality of delivery goals.
4. Customer relationship and technology understanding, for software development as per the organization strategy
5. Responsible for effective engagement with internal customers across geography
6. Ensure agreed SW Product development releases/deliverables are in line with Daimler release planning & product development process
7. Responsible for People management & career development of the team
8. Dealing with day to day operation of group & ensure Knowledge build-up of team members, performance monitoring and feedback
9. Act as a first point of escalation for all project & business related queries
10. As a part of leadership team, ensure alignment & implement project strategy in line with organization strategy
11. Lead cross functional activities & collaborate with leadership team as needed
12. Flexible to travel globally based on business need to participate in various supplier discussions, technical and management discussions
Accountable for all activities under below programs.
0. Responsible for a delivery of vehicle localization software with 100% quality
1. Responsible for ensuring Delivery activities as per the specified requirements and timelines.
2. Responsible for implementing Project Management practices to comply with the V-model for development.
3. Effort estimations and work breakdown.
4. Ensure availability of Test Specifications, ensuring Code Coverage, software Quality and software validation (MIL, SIL)
5. Ensure that the deployed SW is bug-free and adheres to Model and SW development guidelines.
6. Responsible for mentoring and overseeing the activities of the Development team with an aim to improve the overall System Understanding.

Qualifikationen

1. 14+ years of experience in core technical part of automotive embedded software development and 3-4 years of line management experience - people, customer, suppliers.

0. Bachelors or Master\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Computer Science/Electrical & Electronics/ Masters in Computer Applications
1. 14-20 years of overall experience in software development including project management, requirements engineering, system analysis and validation.
2. Excellent Leadership skills and understanding of leadership
3. Strong Technical experience in embedded Software Development.
4. People and Project Management Experience including handling appraisals, project budget planning, critical conversations.
5. Good understanding of Integrity and Compliance value systems.
6. Knowledge of Automotive SPICE/CMMi, ISO 26262
7. Good Understanding of embedded/model based Software development lifecycle and methodologies
8. Exposure to configuration management tools like GIT, Bitbucket and requirement management tools like DNG, STARC, Jira, Confluence,. Design and develop a cutting-edge s/w algorithm for the future autonomous driving systems
