Senior Professional Consultant Business Data Integration Shopfloor

Responsibilities

Identify customer requirements, analyze alternatives, and make product recommendations Providing advice on technology best practices. Planning a timeline for completion of projects. Define best practices regarding machine connectivity Act as the single point of contact between the IT department and production plants Manage machine and (connectivity) hardware suppliers Provide input on IT architecture and strategy

Qualifications

Degree in Communications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, IT, or a related field with practical experience Initial experience in Industry IoT Strong experience in machine connectivity (OPC-UA, Modbus etc.) Basic knowledge of PLC control High communication skills Experience in communicating with machine suppliers Proficiency in English Experience in supplier management Understanding of cloud concepts Understanding of IT architectures Basic understanding of IT infrastructure and networks Initial experience in project management At least 5 years of work experience
