GBS responsibility:

Production and Purchase planning responsibility:
Create and maintain production plans
Create and maintain purchase plans
Maintain planning relevant Master Data and evaluate Master Data quality
Planning performance reporting and evaluation of transactional data quality
Handle orders from affiliate/regional office
Evaluate new Sales Orders / Process Orders in terms of sufficient capacity and feasibility according to existing production- and purchase plans.
Decide best possible fit to existing plans, taking stock levels, available capacity and availability of ingoing components into consideration.
Escalate potential misalignments to relevant stakeholders according to agreement
Confirm orders
Continuously engage in dialogue with local Flow Manager (GBS point of contact to the local site) and Country Supply Chain Responsible to ensure timely communication in terms of delays to Sales Orders or in cases with significant stock level impacts
Orders will be placed manually/cyclic by affiliate/regional office in a horizon up to 52 weeks or created automatically by OMP in a horizon 0-12 week from today.
Create and maintain production plans
Create production plans for all relevant production levels in an agreed horizon with the production areas within appointed responsibility.
Provide sequenced and levelled production plan once a week, taking stock levels, available capacity and availability of ingoing components into consideration.
Convert planned orders to process orders weekly
Perform Master Data checks weekly
Do batch allocation / determination and release process orders for production daily
Alert monitoring daily, resolve with help from relevant stakeholders.
Evaluate dates for Sales Orders and process orders within planner responsibility and update when required
Communicate production plan to site
Provide reports for local investigation when Process Orders within Production responsibility and QM lots are past due
Continuously engage in dialogue with Site, MPS to ensure timely rescheduling of upcoming plans in cases with delays or faster execution in active production plans and release processes.
Maintain planning relevant Master Data and evaluate Master Data quality
Maintain planning relevant Master Data in terms of new, changed or obsolete values based on input from production- and purchase area within appointed responsibility as well as input from the relevant MPS planner or MD organisation - in accordance with the defined MD processes and escalates observed Master Data issues to the Steward
Provide relevant correction and evaluation of Master Data quality when receipt of centrally distributed Master Data quality reports and engage in dialogue with Flow Manager when area input is needed.
Support to onshore team
Have regular meeting with onshore team and support stakeholders with relevant planning reports and Ad hoc analysis. Support Line of business with transition of process and scoping process transfers across regions. Document the process.
Planning performance reporting and evaluation of transactional data quality
Report on performance, evaluate performance and suggest/implement improvements.
Logging of root causes when production area deviates from communicated production plan.
Logging of root causes when production area or suppliers deviates from communicated purchase plans
Investigate and present preventive/mitigating action to handle deviation.
Continuously improve area of responsibility
Scope of Authority:
Decision authority within the area of responsibility expected. In time more and more responsibility might be transferred and it will be expected that tasks can be solved with limited support from key stakeholders.

Geographic responsibility:
Position based in Global Shared Service centre in Bangalore.
Some travelling may be expected for training purposes between Bangalore and PS Sites
Travelling between Bangalore and appointed Planning areas may be expected to handle complex challenges and sustain relationship
The position requires knowledge about and ability to deal with diverse cultures and practices in all countries where NN is operating and working with the PS sites outside Denmark is as vital importance and it is expected a close and supportive relationship with PS sites network
Knowledge, skills and experience:
Minimum knowledge required to fulfil job responsibilities (not actual CV from candidate/employee)
Education:
Bachelors within supply chain management, production or mechanical (or equivalent) from a well-recognised institute
Good academic track record and grades
Experience:
Have been working with planning and support function for at least 2 - 4 years
Good knowledge about production planning and purchase process.
Ability to work on offshored planning processes
Ability to analyse and process the data
Good understanding of supply chain concepts (Plan, Make, Source, Deliver and Return and the supporting master data)
Experience user of the Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
ECC/R3 experience within Supply Chain is a must, OMP can be added advantage.
