In this role, you\'ll make an impact in the following ways: This role is responsible for providing 24x7(Level-3) support for all the business applications and enterprise systems for MCM. The Person in this position will be familiar with most asset type and will be providing level -3 support for most of the issues. S/he will be working with Strategic Project Office team on business level projects from application support side. S/He will help to prepare training documents for the team on new applications/software and strategies. S/He will function as the quality coordinator of the team and will be working on KWI, LEAN and other quality initiative. S/he will also provide monthly report of the team. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS - Key Roles & Responsibilities Functional Responsibilities- Advanced Technical Analyst duties handle production release work with Onshore and Pune automation team on projects, Research and troubleshoot critical issues, Prepare, and submit RCA report, responsible for handling business issues in 3rd Party Applications. 40% Domain Expert - Familiar with most Asset Types, Understands System Trade Flow of most instruments traded by Mellon (and has a desire to learn about other Mellon instruments), Should have in depth technical as well as business knowledge of Trade ops, data management, portfolio management and other investment management applications 30 % Transitions facilitator- The individual will be responsible for helping to communicate with the Onshore for all existing & new tasks training and procedure documentation. She/he will be working closely alongside the Team Lead and with the onshore counterparts to determine the requirements and have it documented. Potential to assist with professional & courteous training in the team by walking junior team member through all the AutoSys jobs, business applications and different trade flows 30 % LEVELING FACTORS Business Expertise: Applicant should be having a significant understanding about how asset management works. S/He Should be having an excellent business understanding of different asset types, trade flows and different applications involved during trading and how systems are integrated. Problem Solving: As the person is working 24x7 environment and would be working with different people on different applications at different hours, S/He should be having strong problem skills while working on projects or resolving any issues during his day-to-day activities in timely manner to keep all the business systems up and running. Nature & Area of Impact: This role may impact day trading and if the systems issues are not resolved in time, it could cause delay in system and lead to financial loss. Delay in response in any outage/client request and setting up the wrong code, might cause the company, reputation loss. Interactions / Interpersonal Skills: There will be regular interactions with the teams both Local as well as Onshore and occasional interactions with clients. The person should have excellent communication skills both written and verbal. He should have willingness to analyze, innovate and improve workflow processes.
