Job Description

We are seeking a results-driven and experienced Production Manager to oversee the daily operations of our rigid packaging manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing production activities to ensure the efficient and timely manufacturing of high-quality rigid packaging products (e.g., plastic containers, bottles, caps). This role requires strong leadership, planning, and technical skills within a high-volume production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, coordinate, and control manufacturing processes to ensure products are delivered on time and within budget. Lead, coach, and supervise production teams to maintain productivity, quality, and safety standards. Monitor production schedules and adjust as needed to meet customer requirements. Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production efficiency and reduce waste. Oversee machine performance, maintenance schedules, and minimize downtime. Implement and enforce quality control procedures in accordance with industry and customer standards. Collaborate with supply chain, quality assurance, and maintenance teams to ensure smooth operations. Analyze production data and reports to identify trends, issues, and improvement opportunities. Manage workforce planning, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations. Maintain accurate production records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field. 5+ years of production management experience in rigid plastic packaging or a related manufacturing industry. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes such as injection molding, blow molding, extrusion, or thermoforming. Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.

Pay: ₹630,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
