Job Purpose

:

To lead and manage the overall operations of the plant, ensuring smooth and efficient production processes while maintaining high-quality standards. The Plant Head will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, managing a team, optimizing plant performance, and implementing strategic initiatives in line with Kaivalya Metals' growth objectives and core values of integrity, ownership, and excellence. The role is essential in driving operational efficiency, fostering a culture of innovation, and contributing to the company's expansion within the metal sector.

Plant Operations Management:

Oversee all aspects of plant operations, including production, maintenance, inventory management, and quality control.

Monitor and optimize production processes to achieve operational efficiency and meet production targets

Ensure plant equipment and machinery are maintained and operate at peak performance.

Team Leadership and Development:

Lead and mentor a team of production and technical staff to ensure alignment with plant goals.

Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement within the plant.

Manage recruitment, training, and performance appraisals of team members.

Safety and Compliance:

Ensure the plant operates in compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Conduct regular safety audits and implement corrective actions as needed.

Maintain a safe working environment through strict adherence to safety protocols.

Budget and Cost Control:

Develop and manage the plant's budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.

Identify cost-reduction opportunities while maintaining product quality and safety standards.]

Collaboration with Senior Management:

Report directly to the MD and collaborate on strategic planning and decision-making.

Work with the senior management team to align plant operations with the company's long-term goals and vision.

Continuous Improvement:

Drive innovation and process improvements in plant operations.

Utilize lean manufacturing principles and other best practices to enhance productivity and reduce waste.

Qualification:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy, or a related field.

5+ years of experience in plant operations management, preferably in the melting or metal industry.

Proven leadership experience in managing large teams and complex operations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?40,000.00 - ?45,000.00 per month
