WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We're looking for a Senior Manager - Production to lead and manage our end-to-end sourcing and production planning functions. This is a strategic leadership role that involves close coordination with design, merchandising, sourcing partners, vendors, and production units to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality products. You should be someone who thrives in high-growth environments, understands the nuances of fabric sourcing, vendor management, and production timelines, and can translate design intent into executable production plans -- on time and within budget.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Identify and onboard reliable fabric and trim vendors across India.
Negotiate costs, lead times, and minimum order quantities to balance quality and margins.
Maintain strong supplier relationships and ensure consistent quality checks and compliance.
Develop and manage detailed production schedules as per monthly plans.
Coordinate with internal teams and vendors to ensure timely order completion.
Monitor order status, resolve delays, and manage raw material inventory efficiently.
Work closely with Design, Merchandising, Quality, and Logistics teams for smooth production flow.
Proactively address production or sourcing challenges with practical solutions.
Implement and refine SOPs to streamline sourcing and production processes.
Use trackers and dashboards to ensure transparency and accountability across the supply chain.
WHO ARE YOU?
8+ years of experience in sourcing, vendor development, and/or apparel production planning.
Strong knowledge of textiles, trims, garment construction, and the Indian supply ecosystem.
Experience in managing timelines, production capacity, and cost negotiation.
Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growth-oriented D2C environment.
Preferably a graduate in Textile Engineering, Fashion Technology, or Production Management.
