Job Title: Manufacturing - Senior Production Engineer
Location: Umargam, Gujarat
Key Responsibilities:
o Planning and organising production schedules
o Oversee daily operations to ensure products are manufactured efficiently, on time, and within budget
o Implement and maintain best practices for manufacturing processes and equipment utilisation.
o Renegotiating timescales or schedules as necessary
o Ensure that all products meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
o Identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize resource allocation. Estimating, negotiating and agreeing budgets and timescales with clients and managers
o Assessing project and resource requirements
o Monitor production to resolve issues
o Ensuring that health and safety regulations are met
o Overseeing production processes
o Overseeing the repair and routine maintenance of production equipment
o Supervising and managing the work of junior staff
Qualifications:
Education
o Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Production Engineering / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
Experience:
o 5+ years of experience in manufacturing management, with a proven track record of successful plant operations.
o Candidates preferred from the PEB/ Machine manufacturing industry.
o Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with ERP systems relevant to manufacturing.
Skills:
o Deep knowledge of production management
o Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations
o Knowledge of budgeting concepts
o Experience in reporting on key production metrics
o Outstanding communication ability
o Excellent organizational and leaderships skills
o Attention to detail
o Strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ?20,000.00 - ?60,000.00 per month
