Product managers are home to technical experts who work together to design and build our software and product roadmap, whereas our QA team is constantly aimed at enhancing the quality of our platform delivery through test methodologies for implementations, upgrades, and migrations. Team And Role Overview We are seeking a senior Business Analyst with Front-Office or Middle-Office and Back-Office experience in FX and Fixed Income Securities trading, to assist in the development of the Calypso E-Portal product suite covering, e-FX, e-Treasury, eSelfService, e-Clearing and e-Monetary Operations. Experience with Electronic Trading platforms and Market Data platforms such as Bloomberg and Reuters would be a definite plus. The ideal candidate is someone who has experience either trading FX, bonds or rates or provided support for any of those products. Having previous exposure to web-based financial solutions will be beneficial. Responsibilities Work closely with clients to document Business Requirements. Writing detailed Functional Specifications of Client and Market Requirements for developers, including test cases covering E-Portals Work with UDX team to design user workflows and create wireframes. Using/testing the system daily, trying to mimic client\'s workflows, business scenarios, and daily operations as our clients and users would do, to identify functional gaps. Keeping a critical eye on system usability and user experience in general, to come up with simple ideas/features that could make the system easier to implement, configure, set up, use, and maintain. Collaborating with Customer Support, Customer Delivery, Senior Product Managers, QA, and Engineers to investigate/validate client\'s issues and detail possible solutions or workarounds. Collaborating with the Calypso Quality Assurance team to develop end to end test cases. Iteratively test developed software, to ensure that business requirements are met. Present and demonstrate solutions to Clients, and other internal stakeholders. Working closely with senior Product Managers to keep documentation and other application repositories complete and current. Interacting with the Market Specialists team (Pre-Sales) to understand Go-To-Market priorities and client requirements. Skills And Requirements A solid understanding of financial products in general with a specific focus on FX and Fixed Income trading and or Operations. Business Analysis Skills with a very strong Analytical Background Understanding of one or more aspects of Trading and Trade Processing and Market Data: trade capture and basic valuations, trade workflow, cash flows, settlements, and position management. Knowing Java will be an added advantage. Ability to work with little supervision, be a fast learner, self-motivated, team player, and collaborator with strong problem-solving skills. Good oral and written communication skills are essential.
