Job Description

Summary
Designs, develops, tests, debugs and implements more complex operating systems components, software tools, and utilities with full competency. Coordinates with users to determine requirements. Reviews systems under development and related documentation. Makes more complex modifications to existing software to fit specialized needs and configurations and maintains program libraries and technical documentation. May coordinate activities of the project team and assist in monitoring project schedules and costs.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related technical field Minimum of 6 to 10 years of experience in building application using Java technology. Hands on experience in Java (language standard 8 and up) and state-of-the-art Java architectures Proficient either in JAVA or .NET, but capable and willing to do projects in both environments Willingness and endurance to also work on the maintenance of existing Cloud-Products Experience with AI Coding Support like GITHUB Copilot Web services and REST interfaces Strong experience in development of distributed software for the cloud, ideally Microsoft Azure cloud (e. g.Azure SQL, PostgresSQL, Azure Functions, PaaS services) OR AWS cloud. Experience with clean code, peer review and pair programming Experience with UI development using a JavaScript framework like REACT OR Angular Enthusiasm for excellence and a strong "hands-on" attitude Experience setting-up and working within development environments which include Maven, Git. Subversion, Jenkins or similar Agile mindset Motivated self-starter with a strong enthusiasm to learn Strong communication skills. You communicate complex solutions across teams and clients Very good written and spoken English

Good to HaveKnowledge of C# .NET (language standard 8 and up, Core) and state-of-the-art .NET architectures Experience with transitioning applications from R&D into production is a big plus Experience working in distributed international teams Domain expertise in accounting, tax or related areas Familiarity with Jira and Confluence AI Knowledge

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience. Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology. Experience with tax and accounting domain a plus.
