What started as a print book distribution business has expanded into a diverse operation that is driving growth through multiple digital solutions while evolving the original print business into a comprehensive set of print and increasingly digital solutions for students, residents, faculty and practicing physicians. Some of the products sold in India are created by Wolters Kluwer global divisions and sold in India. Others are sold in India by a separate team outside of Global Growth Markets. These latter products still benefit from local support and collaboration and have the potential to move into the Global Growth Markets portfolio in the future.
The Product Marketing Specialist - Open Access will work closely with colleagues in Product Marketing, Product Management, Central Marketing, and others as needed, owning the marketing for a portfolio of fully open access journals. They would be responsible for developing campaign strategies, leading the creation of multi-channel marketing plans, and overseeing their successful execution. In addition, this role also supports programs that enable submissions growth across the journals open access portfolio in the country and plays a key role in generating opportunities in the dynamic open access market.
The other key responsibility will be to bridge the gap between market research and strategic execution. The role involves conducting in-depth market analysis, developing compelling product messaging, and coordinating with various teams to ensure successful campaign launches. The Product Marketing Specialist - Open Access will make significant contributions to the overall product marketing strategy, leveraging their skills to enhance our market presence and drive customer engagement.
